Bria FIBO 2.0 vs FLUX 3 Image Klein
Both are mid-sized image models with published weights that generate and edit at about one megapixel: Bria's 8 billion parameter FIBO 2.0, which Bria says is trained only on licensed data, and Black Forest Labs' 5.6 billion parameter FLUX 3 Image Klein, released on 15 October 2026. Both ran the same twelve prompts through fal on 22 October 2026.

Which to use
Klein, unless licensed training data or structured prompts are the point. On our prompts the two were close: both set the poster and infographic word for word, both made a clean product edit with nothing else moved, and both missed the chart. Klein placed the composition test exactly where FIBO drew four ice cubes, and left its woodblock print unsigned where FIBO added a cartouche and seals; FIBO drew the better logo. Klein costs $0.009 a 1K image against FIBO's $0.04 and answered in about 3 seconds against about 17. The licences differ: Klein's weights are free for commercial use under $5 million in annual revenue, FIBO's are non-commercial only, though both are commercial through fal. FIBO's case is Bria's licensed-data claim and its editable JSON prompts. One run per prompt is a fair first look, not a ranking.

Frequently asked questions
Which is cheaper?
FLUX 3 Image Klein, at $0.009 a 1K image on fal against $0.04 for FIBO 2.0. fal lists Klein's prices as planned.
Can I use the weights commercially?
Klein's, under the FLUX Kommunity License, if your annual revenue is under $5 million. FIBO 2.0's are CC BY-NC 4.0, non-commercial, unless you have an agreement with Bria. Both are licensed for commercial use when run through fal.
Were both run the same way?
Same prompts, one attempt each, through fal on the same day, at about one megapixel. Klein had prompt expansion on, its default; FIBO always expands the prompt into its JSON scene description.
