LTX 2.5 Pro vs LTX 2.5 Fast
Both tiers of Lightricks' open-weight LTX 2.5 ran the same nine prompts on fal on 22 October 2026, submitted together, at 720p, 24 frames a second and six seconds, the shortest length either accepts, with audio on. Queue polling is included in the recorded waits.

Which to use
Pay for Pro when there is a person or a camera move in the shot. Its speaker is the liveliest of the batch, mouth clearly forming words, and its drone push into the harbour could pass for stock footage; Fast's versions are close but plainer. Neither tier is for products or type: both spelled the title wrong ('SUMEBNS' on Pro, 'SAMESIONS' on Fast), both turned the turntable dripper into something else, and both turned the spill into a splash with one to three cubes standing on the table instead of a glass tipping over. Fast is $0.09 a second at 720p against Pro's $0.12, takes up to 20 seconds and 4K where Pro stops at 10 seconds and 1080p, and in our batch it was not quicker: 47 to 137 seconds against 47 to 143. Fast also lost the dripper from the pour and grew a lip on our photographed product. One run per prompt is a first look, not a ranking.

The same 9 prompts, LTX 2.5 Pro against LTX 2.5 Fast
One try each, nothing re-rolled or retouched, generated by us. LTX 2.5 Pro is on the left, LTX 2.5 Fast on the right. Every prompt has its own page with the whole roster.
Product turntable
Every model on this prompt →›What we asked for
A matte black ceramic pour-over coffee dripper rotating slowly on a white turntable, soft studio light, seamless white background, product video, no text.
Person speaking
Every model on this prompt →Both made a handheld selfie in a bright kitchen. Pro's mouth movements are clearer and its smile lands at the end; Fast's speaker laughs through the middle.
›What we asked for
A woman in her 40s with short grey hair stands in a bright kitchen, looks at the camera and says 'Good morning, the coffee is ready', natural window light, handheld feel, she smiles at the end.
Animated title card
Every model on this prompt →Both garbled the title: 'MODA SUMEBNS' and 'Fridiy 12 June' on Pro, 'MODA SUMMER SAMESIONS' and then 'Friday 12 Une' on Fast.
›What we asked for
A title card reading 'MODA SUMMER SESSIONS' animates in over slow-motion footage of a festival crowd at dusk, then a smaller line 'Friday 12 June' fades in beneath it. Bold condensed type, tangerine on navy.
Camera move
Every model on this prompt →›What we asked for
Drone shot pushing slowly forward over a coastal town at sunrise, terracotta roofs, fishing boats in the harbour, long shadows, cinematic and steady.
Physics
Every model on this prompt →›What we asked for
A glass of water tips over on a wooden table and spills in slow motion, water and three ice cubes sliding across the wood, macro lens, morning light.
Hands at work
Every model on this prompt →Pro keeps the kettle, paper filter, carafe and a steadying hand. Fast pours into a glass bowl of grounds with no dripper at all.
›What we asked for
Close-up of hands pouring hot water from a gooseneck kettle in slow circles into a pour-over coffee dripper, steam rising, shallow depth of field, warm cafe light.
Busy scene
Every model on this prompt →›What we asked for
A crowded Saturday farmers market seen from slightly above, shoppers with tote bags, a dog on a leash, a busker with a guitar, bunting swaying, late morning light, gentle camera drift.
Specific art style
Every model on this prompt →Neither made a woodblock print. Pro's sea is crumpled blue paper that moves; Fast's is static white paper peaks.
›What we asked for
A lighthouse on a rocky cliff in a storm, in the style of a Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print, waves crashing in flat colour with visible wood grain, animated like moving paper cutouts.
Image to video
Every model on this prompt →Pro keeps the dripper and fills it like a cup. Fast grows a pouring lip on the rim and runs coffee down the outside.
›What we asked for
The coffee dripper slowly fills as coffee drips through it, steam rising, the camera drifting gently around it, the dripper itself unchanged.
