Voyager vs FLORA

FLORA is a browser canvas where you wire AI image, video and audio models into reusable workflows, with an agent, FAUNA, that builds them for you. Voyager is a desktop AI agent that generates with many of the same models, then works in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Blender or its own design, video and music editors, on editable projects.

Choose Voyager if

  • The work has to be built in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Blender or a DAW, not only handed to them.
  • You want Claude Code or Codex as the agent, on a subscription you already pay for.
  • You want to generate on your own model keys or a Higgsfield plan.

Choose FLORA if

  • You want to see and reuse the whole generation recipe as a graph of nodes.
  • Your team works together on one canvas in a browser.
  • You reuse one workflow, or a shared Technique, across a campaign.

What each one is

A node canvas, or an agent on your computer.

What is Voyager?

Voyager is a desktop app for macOS, with Windows and Linux in alpha. Its agent, or your own Claude Code or Codex, generates with cloud models when a step needs one, then carries on in the software where the project lives, including Voyager’s own Design, Video and DAW editors, so the result stays a layered, editable project.

What is FLORA?

FLORA is a browser canvas for generative work. Text, image, video, audio and 3D nodes connect into workflows you can save and share as Techniques, with a layer editor, a 10-track timeline and real-time collaboration. FAUNA, its agent, builds and runs nodes for you. It hosts models from Google, OpenAI, ByteDance, Kling and others, and has none of its own.

Your apps

It works inside the apps, not next to them.

FLORA is built to hand off well. Its timeline exports EDL, XML and FCPXML with the source media, its 3D exports carry Blender, Unity and Unreal presets, and video leaves as ProRes. What it does not do is work inside those apps: the grade, the layered Photoshop file and the After Effects comp are still yours to build.

Voyager’s agent operates the creative software on your computer, with your own licences. It builds layers in Photoshop, cuts and grades in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, animates in After Effects and lays out scenes in Blender, so the project in the app is the deliverable.

If you don’t own those apps, Voyager’s own Design, Video and DAW editors come with it, free, and export PSD, SVG, Lottie, OTIO, FCPXML, stems and MIDI.

  • Illustrator
  • After Effects
  • Premiere Pro
  • DaVinci Resolve
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Blender
  • Unity
  • Ableton Live
  • + many more
  • Voyager Design

Vector, raster and paint layers, layout, decks with PPTX, and motion graphics with keyframes. Exports PNG, SVG, PDF, PSD, Lottie and ProRes 4444 with alpha.

  • Voyager Video

Timeline, multicam, colour and keys. Hands off to Resolve and Premiere as OTIO, FCPXML or EDL, and delivers H.264, HEVC, ProRes and DNxHR.

  • Voyager DAW

Arranging, instruments, VST3 plug-ins, mixing and mastering to loudness targets, stems and MIDI export, and scoring to picture: cues from a video’s cuts and ducking under voice-over.

You bring your own licences. Live control of the Adobe apps runs on macOS today. Voyager DAW does most of what you would do in Ableton Live or Logic Pro, from arranging and recording to mixing and mastering, and the rest is on the way. It doesn’t have sampled orchestral instruments yet. Trademarks belong to their owners; Voyager isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.

On FLORA

FLORA’s Export node also sends files to Google Drive and Shopify, and its MCP server and API let Claude Code, Cursor and other tools use FLORA. (Export node, read ; FLORA MCP docs, read )

Finished work

A score, a mix and motion graphics, not only generations.

A FLORA canvas is a recipe: models and edits wired together, run again with new inputs. That suits generation at volume. Its timeline lays generated clips, text and captions on up to 10 tracks, and audio nodes generate music and voice, but there is no instrument, mixer or mastering chain.

In the recording below, one prompt to Voyager asks for a 45-second original dark synth score for a launch video. The agent writes the synths, bass and taiko kit as code in Voyager DAW, arranges 12 tracks across six sections with tempo ramps and renders stems mastered to -16 LUFS; the motion graphics come from Voyager Design. No generation model was used, and every note and keyframe can still be changed.

One prompt to a finished, editable 12-track score in Voyager DAW: 45 seconds, mastered to -16 LUFS. Recorded in the desktop app, October 2026.

On FLORA

FLORA’s Techniques save a workflow, its own or a creator’s, to run again with new inputs, which Voyager does not offer as a visual graph. (FLORA, read )

Your agent and accounts

Your agent, on the accounts you already pay for.

FAUNA works the FLORA canvas, and FLORA bills every generation to your FLORA plan. Voyager lets you choose both sides. The agent can be Voyager’s own, or Claude Code or Codex on the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already have, at no charge from Voyager. Generation can run on a Voyager plan, on your own fal, Google or ElevenLabs keys, or on a Higgsfield plan through Sign in with Higgsfield, in the order you set, and each generation records which account paid.

A shared model is the same model on either product, so the difference is not output quality. It is where the agent works and who you pay.

Pricing

Both publish their rates. Voyager also takes your keys.

How Voyager charges

A credit is 1¢ of what the model’s provider charges, with no markup on any plan, and every rate is published.

Bring your own fal, Google, ElevenLabs or Higgsfield keys, or spend a Higgsfield plan, and the provider bills you directly.

With your own model keys and your own Claude or ChatGPT, the app costs nothing.

How FLORA charges

FLORA bills in dollars and publishes each model’s price with the settings it assumes. Nano Banana 2.1 at 1K is $0.0353, about the same as or less than on Voyager. (FLORA model pricing, read )

Each plan includes its price in usage, per seat. Overage runs at the same published rates; unused usage does not roll over. (FLORA plans and usage, read ; FLORA billing FAQ, read )

FAUNA, the agent, is free on every plan and never counts against usage. (FAUNA, read )

Every Voyager rate is on the pricing page.

Where FLORA wins

When FLORA is the better pick.

  • The recipe is visible

Every model, edit and input sits on the canvas as a node you can inspect, change and rerun. Voyager’s agent decides its steps in conversation, which is quicker to start but less visible. (FLORA, read )

  • Reuse

A Technique runs a proven workflow again with new inputs, the shape of a campaign with dozens of variations. (FLORA, read )

  • Teams in a browser

Real-time collaboration on one canvas, pooled usage per workspace and spending caps, with nothing to install. (Collaboration and sharing, read ; FLORA plans and usage, read )

  • Clear dollar prices

Every model’s price is published in dollars with its settings, FAUNA is free, and on several popular models FLORA costs the same as Voyager or less. (FLORA model pricing, read ; FAUNA, read )

FAQ

Questions, answered.

More about Voyager in the FAQ and on the pricing page.

How we checked

FLORA’s plans, model prices and features were read on 8 October 2026 from flora.ai, its documentation and its Terms, signed out, in the US. Each FLORA claim links its source. Where we say FLORA lacks something, it was not listed in its docs that day. Voyager’s facts come from its published rates and the desktop app. We did not compare output quality: a shared model is the same model on both products.

What is the difference between Voyager and FLORA?

FLORA is a browser canvas where AI models become nodes in reusable workflows, with an agent, FAUNA, that builds them. Voyager is a desktop agent that uses many of the same models and works in the creative apps on your computer and in its own design, video and music editors, so the result is a project in those apps. (FLORA, read ; FAUNA, read )

Is Voyager cheaper than FLORA?

Not as a rule. Both publish their model prices, and on Nano Banana 2.1 FLORA costs about the same as Voyager or less. Voyager can be cheaper overall if you bring your own model keys or already pay for Higgsfield, since it then charges nothing. (FLORA model pricing, read )

Can FLORA export to Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve?

Yes. FLORA’s timeline exports EDL, XML and FCPXML bundles with the source media, and video exports as ProRes. Voyager’s agent goes a step further and does the edit inside Premiere Pro or Resolve. (Timeline editor, read ; Export node, read )

Can I use Claude Code or Codex with FLORA?

Through FLORA’s MCP server, Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cursor can use FLORA on your FLORA account, from the Starter plan up. In Voyager, Claude Code or Codex is the agent itself, on your own subscription, at no charge from Voyager. (FLORA MCP docs, read ; FLORA plans and usage, read )

Is FLORA free?

FLORA’s free plan includes limited generations on text and image models, without video, API or MCP. Voyager is free to download and use with your own agent and model keys. (FLORA plans and usage, read )

Do I have to install Voyager?

Yes. Voyager is a free desktop app for macOS 15 or later on Apple silicon, with Windows 11 and Linux in alpha and mobile apps coming soon. FLORA runs in a browser.
